Eliya Shaviv Product & Strategy as a Service
Let's talk

The products that are hard to get right.

Regulated, physical, technically deep. The ones where a wrong call costs years, not sprints. I have spent fifteen years taking those from concept to market. Now I do it fractionally.

Fractional product leadership

For teams with no CPO, or a founder still holding product and needing to hand it over. I take the roadmap, the priorities, and the hard calls. Part-time, senior, accountable. You get your head back for the company, while product keeps moving.

0 to 1 de-risking

Concept to something a customer will actually buy. Discovery, requirements, user research, human factors, and the regulatory path if there is one. This is the phase where the expensive mistakes get made. You get a plan that survives contact with reality, before you have paid for the wrong version.

Product and roadmap audit

An honest look at what you are building and why. Prioritization, scope, sequencing, and what to kill. At Syqe I cut a 50-initiative roadmap down to 20 and got the board to approve it.

Mentoring

One-on-one for mid-to-senior PMs. Technical execution, strategy, stakeholder work: the parts nobody teaches you. Your PM levels up in months, not years, and it stays after I leave.

How I work

I build my own AI tooling to compress the slow parts of this job: market research, user insight synthesis, requirements, and technical documentation. Analysis that used to take two weeks takes two days. Same rigour, sooner, and the judgement calls stay mine.

Work with me

You do not need another hire. You need someone who has done this before.

Fractional, senior, and accountable from week one. No headcount, no ramp-up, no six month learning curve.

Who this is for

A good fit
  • Founders in the messy 0 to 1, where the problem changes shape weekly: commercial one day, technical the next, a user problem the third. I move across all three without a handoff.
  • Products that are hard to get right: regulated, technically deep, multidisciplinary. Software, hardware, or the seam between them.
  • Teams that need seniority now, not in month three. Fast ramp-up is the whole point of fractional: I have done the first week many times.
Probably not
  • Documentation-only engagements. I write PRDs and specs, but as instruments of a product decision, not instead of one.
  • Anything that needs the user not to look too closely. If the product only works when the customer is confused, I am out.
  • You want a yes-person. I will tell you when the plan will not survive contact with reality.
